JUDICIARY!! SHOULD ... JUDICIAL RESTRAINT.

After the Petition against 18th Ammendment, the LAWYER Community SPLIT into 2-Groups ..

I feel the NEW JUDICIAL COUNCIL, is a new Idea of Selecting New JUDGES, but it will also supported by MEDIA & the new applicant Judges will also be mentioned to public.

Before the General Public never knew had any know how about People who is Judging their Fate. Now the JUDICIAL COUNCIL is not a Bad idea at all.

I wish the SUPREME COURT will try the JUDICIAL RESTRAINT and let our PARLIAMENTARY DEMOCRACY to get more mature to provide Right People for the Right Job. I also wish such Council to be made for SBP Governor/ NBP/ STEEL MILL/ PIA/ WAPDA/ PEPCO/ IRRA & Other Governmental Institute so we have good Scrutiny of People who will be managing Pakistani People Assets.

LONG LIVE PARLIAMENT & LONG LIVE INDEPENDANT JUDICIARY.

  1. Judiciary is only to make sure that law of the land is aboded by. Parliament is the law making institution and can abolish the Supreme Court and put in a jirgah if it wants too. The CJ has been a real bad taste in the mouth. He needs to get the judicial system in place before pointing fingers at other departments, of which he has no legal jurisdiction. He CANNOT call a Suo Moto of companies and question them of their operations. He needs to get his act together or he soon will be thrown out. One shouldnt forget that he too is a product of a dictator regime. SO much so that he proved and passed Musharraf legal and fit to rule. Another sorry tale in this tragic land of the (im)pure. I full agree with your statement about the judicial council. If anybody needs a fresh start it has to be the judiciary. They have been more of an antic-body than the people who are supposed to make sure everybody has adhered to the law and swift justice is available. Cases linger on for 40-50 years often. Now is that justice. Doesn't this require a Suo Moto notice?! I guess his one eye doesn't exactly see that his own house needs to be in order.
