CYCLONE PHET : A LESSON TO BE LEARNED.

People in Karachi, Un-known to the threat of a Real Cyclone attack, seen to be visiting sea-side to get glimpse & glamour of the Pre-Storm Tidal Waves.

It was noted during the Oil Spill in USA most of the Citizen were seen moving out of the COASTAL BELT as the oil spill had created Environment hazard for the COASTAL PEOPLE.

During HURRICAN KATRINA, New Orleans was flooded the City. & the rescue effort was delayed because of the bad weather.

Unlike US, people of Pakistan are less Educated & un-known to the threats of Cyclones & hurricanes & our Schools & Colleges dont actually deliver the Lessons of Disaster Management to our YOUTH Generation.

There should be seriousness from the Government side, as the threat of GLOBAL WARMING will increase these Natural Attacks for Our COASTAL BELT.

One should learn from what happened in NEW ORLEANS and should help create a system where we dont rely on Government for Disaster Management, we should do it on our own as Citizen of Karachi.
